Neighborhood Marketing Program (Long Version) Presented By Royaltie Gem CheapAdvertising.Info


In order to rebuild distressed areas, community stabilization efforts need to do more than restore the housing stock — they also need to make the case for investment by current and future homeowners and residents. To assist nonprofit organizations and their neighborhood leaders in these efforts, the NeighborWorks® America Stable Communities Initiative launched the Neighborhood Marketing Program in June 2012. Through this program, NeighborWorks has supported sixteen local NeighborWorks Network member organizations engaged in community stabilization efforts as they worked to reframe the image of their communities and attract and retain residents. The participating organizations worked one-on-one with expert consultants to design and implement neighborhood marketing plans aimed at improving stakeholder perceptions and building market demand in a target community.
